Circles

TermDefinition
Pi The ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter.
Radius The distance from the center of a circle to the edge.
Diameter The distance across the circle passing through the center.
Circumference The distance around the outside of a circle.
Triangle A polygon with 3 angle and 3 straight sides.
Parallelogram A quadrilateral that has opposite sides parallel and equal
Area The amount of space a surface takes up or covers.
Perimeter The distance around the outside of a shape.
Circle A plane shape enclosed by a continuous line.
Chord A line joining 2 points on the circumference of a circle.
