Fraction Operations

TermDefinition
Factor A whole number that divides exactly into another number.
Common Factor A whole number that divides 2 or more other numbers exactly.
Divisor A number that divides the dividend evenly.
Dividend The number being divided.
Regrouping Used to assist in adding and subtracting.
Decimal A number based on 10.
Model A picture representation.
