TermDefinition
Ratio A comparison of two values of the same kind.
Rational Number All integers, fractions, and decimals.
Equivalent Another word for something that is equal in value or amount.
Numerator The top part of a fraction or the number showing how many parts of the whole.
Denominator The bottom part of the fraction or the number showing how many parts the whole is divided into.
Percent Out of one hundred.
Ascending Listing of things least to greatest.
Descending Listing of things greatest to least.
Equivalent Ratios Different ratios that describe the same relationship.
Proportional Represents the same relationship.
Compare Convert to the same form and use >, <, or =
Terminating Decimal A decimal that ends.
Repeating Decimal A decimal that has a repeating pattern.
