Graphing
| Term | Definition |

| Congruent | Something that has the same size and shape. |
| Segments | A section of a line bounded by two endpoints. |
| Angle | The amount of turning between two rays meeting at a vertex. |
| Polygon | A plane shape having 3 or more straight sides. |
| Regular Polygon | A polygon where all sides and angles are equal. |
| Symmetry | When one half of an object is a mirror image of the other half. |
| Sides | A straight line joining the vertices of a polygon. |
| Lines of Symmetry | The place an object can be divided so that each half is a mirror image. |
| Coordinate Plane | A plane containing two perpendicular axes that intersect at the origin. |
| Axis | A reference line. |
| Quadrant | The part of the coordinate plane determined by the intersection of the x and y axis. |
| Ordered Pair | A pair of numbers indicating a specific point on the coordinate plane. |
| Origin | The point where the x and y axis intersect on the plane. |
| Horizontal | Another name for the x axis. |
| Vertical | Another name for the y axis. |
| X Coordinate | The first number in an ordered pair. |
| Y Coordinate | The second number in an ordered pair. |
