Review

TermDefinition
Decimal Point A point between a whole number a decimal fraction.
Integers A positive number, negative number, or zero. Not a fraction or decimal.
Rounding Making a number simpler but keeping its value close to what it was.
Number line Line, that is marked, which makes it easy to tell if the numbers are greater or smaller.
Negative Numbers Numbers that are less than zero. Uses (-) sign in front of the number.
Positive numbers Numbers that are greater than zero.
Absolute Value The distance a number is from ZERO. AWAYS POSITIVE.
Fraction Equal parts that make a whole.
Substitution Putting the numbers where the letters are. Replacing the variable.
Place Value The value of a place within a number.
