Days of the week and the rules in Spanish

In Spanish-speaking countries the week begins on what day? Monday
Are days of the week capitalized? no
What gender are the days of the week? masculine
When used with the days of the week, the definite article has what special meaning? on (No trabajo el lunes. I don’t work on Monday)
do the days of the week ending in -s change form in the plural? NO Only the article changes. el to los
Mañana es domingo. Tomorrow is Sunday.
Salimos el lunes. We leave on Monday.
¿Qué día es hoy? What day is today?
Hoy es lunes. Today is Monday.
Mañana es martes. Tomorrow is Tuesday.
