Subject Verb Agreement & Parallel Structures

| Subject-verb agreement | means that a singular subject must have a singular verb, and a plural subject must have a plural verb |
| inverted | a sentence in which the subject comes after the verb |
| parallel | grouping similar ideas and grammatical forms together (nouns, verbs, adjectives, phrases, clauses, etc.) to make writing flow more smoothly |
