| 2nd Amendment | Right to bear arms (guns) |
| 3rd Amendment | Do not have to house soldiers in peacetime |
| 4th Amendment | No unreasonable search and seizure (right to privacy) |
| 5th Amendment | No Self-Incrimination No Double Jeopardy |
| 6th Amendment | Right to a speedy, public trial; right to face accuser; right to a lawyer |
| 7th Amendment | Right to jury trial in civil case over $20 |
| 8th Amendment | No cruel or unusual punishment or excessive fines/bail |
| 9th Amendment | Cannot take away people's rights that are not specifically listed |
| 10th Amendment | Power to states/people if not given to federal government |
| 13th Amendment | Freed the slaves |
| 14th Amendment | Equal protection under law and due process |
| 15th Amendment | Right to vote shall not be denied on the basis of race/color |
| 16th Amendment | Created the income tax |
| 18th Amendment | Prohibition of alcohol (later repealed) |
| 19th Amendment | Women's right to vote (suffrage) |
| 21st Amendment | Prohibition of alcohol repealed (18th Amendment) |
| 22nd Amendment | President cannot be elected to more than 2 terms or 10 years |
| 26th Amendment | Voting age lowered to 18 yrs old |
