What is a simile? Is a comparison between 2 things using like or as.
What is a Metaphor? Is a comparison between 2 things NOT using like or as.
What is Personification? When you give non-human things human-like characteristics.
What is Imagery? The author uses the senses to describe something to put a image in the reader's head.
What is Internal conflict? Is when there is a conflict with one character and themselves.
What is External conflict? Is when there is a conflict like: Man vs. Man, Man vs. Nature, or Man vs. Society.
What is a Hook? When you use different types of "speeches" to intrigue a reader to read more of that article, novel, etc.
