plane | A flat surface that has no thickness and extends forever |
line | Made up of points, extends forever in two directions |
point | An exact location in space |
midpoint | A point that divides a segment into two congruent segments |

ray | A part of a line, with one endpoint, that continues without end in one direction |
linear pair | A pair of adjacent angles whose noncommon sides are opposite rays. |
vertical angles | A pair of opposite congruent angles formed by intersecting lines |
parallel | Lines in the same plane that never intersect |
perpendicular | Lines that intersect to form right angles |
coplanar | Points that lie on the same plane |
adjacent angles | Angles that have a common vertex and a common side. |
bisector | cuts an object into two equal parts |
