Why does Brutus worry about Caesar taking power? He is worried that it will change his nature. From good to evil. When people have power they sometimes change.
How does Brutus Characterized ambitious people? Ambitiuos people aren't alway successful. Once they get what they want, they forget who helped them get there.
What does Brutus promise to Rome in lines 55-59? He is looking out for Romes Best interest. He promises to help solve Romes Problems.
What is the effect of the apostrophe in lines 77-85? Brutus thinks out how the conspiritors should act id they are going to be successful
What does Cassius do to flatter Brutus in lines 90-94? Everyone likes and honors you.
Why doesn't Brutus want to swear an Oath? If the group does not swear an oath, what does Brutussay will hold them together? None is needed. The sadness of the people shall serve as a bond.
What image of Romans does Brutus project in these lines? Romans who need to take an oath are crafty, unreliable.
How does Decius get Caesar to come to the capitol? They Flatter and use peer pressure to coax him to come
What kind of behavior has Brutus exhibited that has worried Portia,His wife? He is not eating or sleeping. He has been pacing around. Brutus says he is Physically sick.
Does Portia believe him? No, she thinks he is mentally ill
What knid of relationship do Portia and Brutus have? A strong relationship; an equal partnership with no secrets
Caius Legartus enters and supports Brutus. Why? He likes Brutus and would do anything for him.
