| Repercussion | a consequence of some action (usually negative) |
| Slacken | To make or become loose or less strict |
| Tremor | An involuntary shaking of the body, as if from illness or fear |
| Bore | To make a hole, especially with a pointed tool |
| Savor | To enjoy an experience through taste or smell; especially if pleasant. |
| Scapegoat | somebody who is made to take the blame for others. |
| Idiosyncrasy | quirk, a way of behaving that is peculiar to an individual or group possible source of danger. |
| Explicit | clear and obvious. |
| Insomnia | A condition causing difficulty in sleeping. |
| Transfixed | causes someone to become motionless with horror, wonder, or astonishment (aka Frozen with fear) |
| Converging | To meet up, to reach the same point coming from different directions. |
| Sardonic | grimly mocking or cynical. (a step above sarcastic) |
