Noble gases Don’t like to react, found in air
Halogens Like to react, especially with hydrogen

Metalloids Somewhat like a metal. Can conduct electricity
Metals Conduct electricity, shiny
Alkaline earths Found in rocks and minerals, react with air and water
Alkali metals Reactive, even bursting into flames when exposed to water or air
