Digital literacy terms and definitions

| Digital Literacy | The skills for using technology competently, including interpreting and understanding digital content and assessing its credibility as well as creating, researching, and communicating with appropriate tools. |
| Digital Citizenship | The norms of appropriate, responsible behavior with regard to technology use |
| Infosphere | Electronic communication and networking as a whole |
| Public Space | A place that is generally open and accessible to people |
| Cyberspace | An online world of computer networks and especially the Internet |
| Cyberculture | A unique set of habits-values-and other elements of culture that have evolved from the use of computers and the internet |
| Cyberbullying | The use of the Internet to frighten or upset someone, usually by sending them unpleasant messages |
| Online Identity | An identity that an Internet user establishes in online communities and websites |
| RL Identity | A person's identity in real life |
| VR | Virtual reality |
| Metainformation | Information about information |
| Flame | A mean or hateful message posted on the Internet or send by email, typically sent in a response to another message |
