| shivering | to move quickly, due to cold or fear |
| gasped | to breathe quickly, usually due to something surprising or scary |
| moaned | to make a sound, due to boredom or an unwillingness to do something |
| shrieked | to yell in a very high pitch |
| chuckle | to laugh |
| muttered | to talk quietly under one's breath |
| murmured | to talk very quietly, and where the words aren't usually clear |
| chatting | to talk with someone |
