sine opposite/hypotenuse

area of a triangle half the product of the two sides multiplied by the sine of the angle between the two sides
sine rule used in a non right angled triangle given two sides and an angle opposite one of the given sides or two angles and one side
cosine rule used where three sides and one angle are involved
