Enjoined Instruct or urge someone to do something; (law) prohibit someone from performing a particular action by issuing an injunction;
Antithetical Directly opposed or constrained; mutually incompatible
Baffling Impossible to understand; perplexing
Paragon A person or thing viewed as a model or excellence
Underminer To injure or destroy by insidious activity or imperceptible stages, sometimes tending toward a sudden dramatic effect; to attack by indirect or secret means
Chronicler Recording the actions and circumstances
Lax Not sufficiently strict, severe, or careful
Epistolary (Of a literary work) in the form of letters
Mundane Lacking interest or excitement; dull
Succinct Briefly and clearly expressed. (Writing or spoken)
Reticent Not revealing one’s thoughts or feelings readily
Gratuitous Given, done, bestowed, or obtained without charge or payment; free; voluntary
Tweak To pinch and pull with a jerk and twist; to make a minor adjustment to.
Blemishes To destroy or diminish the perfection of; a defect or flaw
Excrescences Abnormal growth or increase (usually harmless)
Tide The periodic rise and fall of the waters in the oceans and its inlets, produced by the attraction of the moon and sun.
Seer A person who prophesies future events; prophet; a person who sees; observer
Egalitarian Characterized by the belief in the equality of all people, especially in political, economic, or social life
Gimmicks An ingenuous or novel device, scheme, or stratagem, especially one design to attract attention to increase appeal; a concealed feature of something, as a plan or deal
