Atomic mass the weight of an atom is the same as the protons
atom the smallest unit of matter.
scientific model an idea that allows us create explanations of how we think some part of the world works. Similar to a THEORY.
scientific evidence is the collection of observations that many people have made. Everyone agrees on the same observations.
Atomic number is the number of protons in the nucleus.
Mass number the number of protons and numbers of neutrons.
atomic mass the weight or mass of a single atom( the same as mass number because, most of the weight of an atom found in the nucleus-electron weigh virtually nothing.
atomic weight the decimal number on the periodic table
