What is an Atom? An atom is the smallest unit of matter
What is Scientific model? An idea that allows us to create explanations of how we think some parts of the world works
Scientific Evidence Collections of observation that many people have made. Everyone agrees on the same collection of observation.
Atomic Number Number of protons in the nucleus of an Atom
Mass Number The numbers of protons plus number of neutrons. Same as mass number because most weight of an Atom comes from the nucleus.
Atomic Weight The decimal number on the periodic table
