Equality Having the same amount or value.
Equation A math sentence that must contain an equal sign.
Expression A math sentence that may contain variables, numbers, and operations.
Solution A value we put in place of a variable. Another word for answer.
Inverse Another word for opposite or reciprocal.
Reciprocal One divided by the number. Another word for "flip the fraction".
Zero Pairs Two integers when added together create a zero.
Translate To write verbal phrases as expressions or equations.
Double To multiply by 2.
Triple To multiply by 3.
Squared To multiply an integer by itself.
Twice To multiply by 2 or two times as many.
Cubed To multiply an integer by itself three times.
Half To divide by 2 or multiply by one half.
