Triangle a polygon with three edges and three vertices
area the amount of space that the surface of a place or shape covers
base a side of a plane figure or face of a solid (especially the part on which it rests)
decompose to break down or be broken down into smaller shapes
height the measurement from base to top (perpendicular to the base)
net A pattern that you can cut and fold to make a model of a solid shape
vertex a corner or a point where lines meet
Surface area The total area of the surface of a three-dimensional object
Edge of 3D figure where two faces meet
polygon any 2-dimensional shape formed with straight lines
Face of 3D figure a 2D shape that makes up one surface of a 3D shape
perimeter the distance around a two-dimensional shape
