Courtroom Terms used in the courtroom for Monster

QuestionAnswer
fade in/out we see a screen that fades in from black or out to black
interior a scene that takes place inside
exterior a scene that takes place outside
voice over (VO) we "hear" a voice narrating, but we don't "see" the person who's speaking
medium shot (MS) we see someone from the waist up from maybe a few feet away
close up (CU) a person's face or other object fills the screen
long shot (LS) we see someone from across the room or further away
