What does components mean? A vector parallel to the x-axis and another parallel to the y-axis.
What does vector resolution means? The process of breaking a vector into its components
What does projectile mean? An object moving through space and affected only by gravity.
What does trajectory mean? The path of a projectile
How does an increase in mass affect acceleration If the force is constant , the acceleration is decreased
Newton's second law of motion Acceleration is directly proportional to the net force and inversely proportional to the mass of an object.
Pressure Force per unit area
Pascal A unit of pressure equal to one newton per square meter
Fluids A substance that can flow and therefore take the shape of its container ,a liquid or a gas
Free-body diagram A diagram showing all the forces acting on an object
Terminal speed The speed at which the acceleration of a failing object is zero because friction balances the weight
