The act of turning the sole (bottom of feet) inward, so that it faces the opposite foot. Inversion

Strengthening exercise that decreases the angle of the joint and causes shortening/contraction of the muscle Concentric Exercise
Strengthening exercise the increases the angle of the joint and lengthening/extension of the muscle Eccentric Exercise
Strengthening exercise where there is no shortening of the muscle and no change in joint angle, even though resistance is applied Isometric Exercise
Specialized stretching technique used for joint mobilization to increase elasticity of the joint capsule, reduce pain and increase joint range of motion. Arthrokinematic Stretching
Exercise that involves placing a muscle in a lengthened position until you begin to feel a pulling sensation in the muscle. Stretching Exercise
Movement of a joint through its full potential in all planes. May be passive, active, or resistive movements. Range of motion (ROM)
Exercises designed to increase the strength of the muscles by repetition of maximal contraction against and with resistance Dynamic Exercise (Progressive Resistive)
