Visual learners Learners who prefer to learn information through charts, graphs, symbols, and other visual means. P:179

Kinesthetic learners Learners who prefer to learn through experience and practice, whether simulated or real. P:179
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) One of the best-known and most widely used personality inventories that can also be used to describe learning styles. This examines basic personality characteristics and how those relate to human interaction and learning. P:184
Multiple Intelligence A theory that suggests that all human beings have at least 8 different types of intelligence. P:186
Verbal/linguistic learner A learner who likes to read, write, and tell stories and is good at memorizing information. P:186
Logical/mathematical learner A learner who likes to work with numbers, and is good at problem-solving and logical processes. P:186

Naturalistic learner A learner who likes to be outside and is good at preservation, conservation, and organizing a living area. P:186
Learning disability A general term which covers a wide variety of specific learning problems resulting from neurological disorders that can make it difficult to acquire certain academic and social skills. P:190
Attention Disorders Attention disorders are common in children, adolescent,and adult.Some students who have attention disorder appear to daydream a lot;even if you do get their attention, they can be easily distracted. P:191
