Organism | An individual animal, plant, or single-celled life form. |
Unicellular | An organism having or consisting of a single cell. |
Multicellular | An organism that is composed of several or many cells. |
Organelle | A specialized part of a cell having some specific function; a cell organ. |
Membrane | The thin, limiting covering of a cell or cell part. |
Cell | A usually microscopic structure containing nuclear and cytoplasmic material enclosed by a semipermeable membrane and, in plants, a cell wall; the basic structural unit of all organisms. |
Nucleus of a cell | It is the main control center for the cell and acts kind of like the cell's brain |
DNA | Contains the genetic information necessary for the production of cell components, organelles, and for the reproduction of life. |
Eukaryotic | A cell that has a nucleus |
Prokaryotic | A cell with no nucleus |
Abiotic | Of or characterized by the absence of life or living organisms. |
Biotic | Pertaining to life. |
