Prism | A polyhedron with two, congruent faces that lie in parallel planes. |
Cylinder | A solid with two, congruent circular bases that lie in parallel planes. |
Pyramid | A polyhedron with one base and triangular lateral sides that meet at a common vertex. |
Cone | A solid with a circular base and a vertex that is not in the same plane as the base. |
Sphere | The solid formed by all the points equidistant from a point in a plane |
Surface Area | The sum of the areas of all of the faces of a solid |
Volume | The number of cubic unit s contained in the interior of a solid figure |
