TermDefinition
The circumference of a cirlce This is telling you to find the circumference of the circle that would be shown on your paper.
The area of a circle This is telling you to find the area of the circle that would be shown on your paper.
Write the ordered pairs This is telling you to look at your coordinate plane and identify the points. Then, you would be writing it on your paper. Example: ( x, y )
What do figures have in common This is telling you to look at the two or more pictures on your paper and observe what they have in common. Example: figure one is a rectangle just like figure two.
Draw a figure in the coordinate plane that matches the description This is telling you to read what the description, and then draw all of the correct lines on the plane. Example: A rectangle with an area of 18 sq. units. Then, you would draw the rectangle with 18 sq. units.
Find the area of the quadrilateral using two different methods This would mean that you need to find two different ways to solve the problem. Example: you can do 2+2=4, or you can do 2x2=4.
What are the disadvantages and advantages of each method This is asking you to list what worked and what didn't work so well with your two methods. Example: 2+2 was very easy to do, but it is a low level math and can not be used to do everything.
