Term | Definition |

Full Faith and Credit Clause | Found in Article 4 of the Constitution, this clause says that states must respect laws of other states. |
Extradition | Found in Article 4 of the Constitution, if a criminal flees a state for a crime, once they are caught, they must be sent back to the state where the crime was committed. |
Amendment | From Article 5 of the Constitution, this is a change or addition to the US Constitution. Most were proposed by ⅔ of Congress and ratified (approved) by ¾ of state legislatures. |
Supremacy Clause | From Article 6 of the Constitution, this states that the US Constitution is the supreme law of the land. Federal law is above state law. |

Wall of Separation /Establishment Clause | This relates to the 1st amendment, freedom of religion. The government may make “no establishment of religion...”The government cannot endorse one religion over another. There is a separation between church and state |
Free exercise clause | Also related to the 1st amendment, freedom of religion, the government CANNOT prevent a person from freely practicing their own religion. |
