| Corollary to a theorem | is a statement that can be proven easily using a the theorm |
| Scalene Triangle | triangle that doesn't have any equal sides |
| Isosceles Triangle | triangle that has 2 equal sides |

| Right Triangle | triangle that has 1 right angle |
| Obtuse Triangle | triangle that has 1 obtuse angle |
| Equiangular Triangle | triangle that has all angles equal |
| Congruent figures | Have congruent parts; exactly equal in size and shape |
| Corresponding parts | parts (angles or sides) are in the same relative position each of the figures |
| Leg of a right triangle | Two sides that form a right triangle |
| Hypotenuse | the sides adjacent to the right triangle |
| Flow Proof | this proof format shows the structure of a proof using boxes and connecting arrows |
| Transformation | is an operation that moves or changes a geometric figure in someway to produce new figure |
| Image | new figure is called this |
| Translation | moves every point of a figure the same distance in the same direction |
| Reflection | uses a line of reflection to create a mirror image of the original image |
| Rotation | turned a figure about a fixed point called the center of rotation |
| Congruence transformation | changes the position of the figure without changing its size or shape |
