INITIAL VELOCITY The beginning or starting velocity of an object before there is any change in its velocity ( acceleration or deceleration).
INTERNAL ENERGY The total energy of a system or object, including its potential energy and its kinetic energy
JOULE The Si unit of work and energy
ONE JOULE equals the force of one newton exerted trhough a distance of one meter. 1 J=1Nm
ELECTRICAL ENERGY IS EQUIVALENT to work done in moving a charge, so the joule can also be used to measure electrical energy; 1J = 1VC
KILOGRAM The Si unit of mass equal to 1,000 grams
KINETIC ENERGY The energy that an object possessess because of its motion
KINETIC ENERGY FORMULA KE = 1/2 mv2
MAGNITUDE The size of a vector quantity, ignoring its direction
