TermDefinition
Point of Congruence A point where three lines intersect
Median A segment whose endpoints are a vertex and the midpoint of the side opposite the vertex.
Circumcenter Is the point of congruency of the perpendicular bisectors of the triangle.
Perpendicular bisector Intersects a side of the triangle at its midpoint and forms four right angles.
Centroid Is also known as the center of gravity and is the point of concurrency of the medians of the triangle.
Incenter Is the point of concurrency of the angle bisectors of the triangle.
Midsegment Is a segment connecting two sides of the triangle at its midpoints.
Angle bisector Divides an angle of the triangle into two congruent angles.
