Film Shots/Angles
| Question | Answer |

| Very Long Shot | Introduces the setting. Sets the atmosphere. |
| Long Shot | Establishes the setting of the scene. Provides a wide view of the scene. Shows the actors in their environment. |
| Medium Long Shot | Allows the audience to view the characters but also the environment. Provides more information. |
| Medium Shot | No environment/background. Shows a character from waist up. If there are more than one or two actors, it helps showing the relationship between people. |
| Close-up | Shows the head of a character (from shoulders up). Directs the attention to the character. |
| Extreme Close-up | Puts a dramatic emphasis on something. Draws attention to a particular emotion. |
| High Angle Shot | Camera is positioned to look down on a person or an object. |
| Low Angle Shot | Camera is positioned to look up at an object or a person. |
