Drama Un cuento que se representa en frente de una audiencia
Audiencia También se llama público
Teatro Donde se lleva a cabo el drama
Dramaturgo o guionista Autor del drama
Narrador Da información a la audiencia acerca de lo que está sucediendo en la obra, aunque por lo general no está en el escenario
Actores Representan a los personajes del drama
Elenco Todos los actores
Guión El texto donde está escrita la obra
Diálogo Lo que dicen los actores uno al otro
Líneas Las palabras que conforman los diálogos
Acotaciones Instrucciones escritas entre paréntesis y en letras itálicas para los actores
Utilería Objetos que se usan para llevar el drama a la vida
Acto Una división importante (como un capítulo)
Ambiente Dónde y cuándo sucede la historia
Trama La secuencia de eventos de la obra
Conflicto El problema en la historia
Resolución La conclusión de la historia, cuando se resuelve el conflicto
Tema El mensaje que quiere transmitir el guionista a través de su historia
