juxtaposition the positioning of ideas or images side by side for emphasis or to show contrast
lampoon a biting satire that makes its subject appear ludicrous
legend a widely told tale about the past that may have a foundation in fact
limerick type of poem that consists of 2 lines of unrhymed anapestic trimeter, 2 lines of rhymed anapestic dimeter, and an additional line of anapestic trimeter, the last word of which is the same or rhymes with the last word of the first line
