| Waiter | a person, especially a man, who waits on tables, as in a restaurant. |
| Refuse | to decline to accept (something offered) |
| Invitation | he written or spoken form with which a person is invited. |
| Hostess | a woman employed in a restaurant or place of amusement to receive, seat, or assist patrons. |
| Order | an authoritative direction or instruction; command; mandate. |
| Bill | a statement of money owed for goods or services supplied |
| Dessert | cake, pie, fruit, pudding, ice cream, etc., served as the final course of a meal. |
| Booster seat | a padded seat that can be placed on a chair seat, for seating a child at the proper height, as at a table or in a barber chai |
| Entrée | a dish served as the main course of a meal |
| Bus boy | a waiter's helper in a restaurant or other public dining room |
| Appetizer | a small portion of a food or drink served before or at the beginning of a meal to stimulate the desire to eat. |
| Highchair | a tall chair having arms and very long legs and usually a removable tray for food, for use by a very young child during meals. |
