| X-Axis | The line on a graph that runs horizontally through zero |
| Dilation | A transfer motion where a shape is made larger (or smaller) without changing position or direction. |
| Corresponding sides | Matching sides. |
| Angle of Rotation. | The number of degrees that something is rotated about a fixed point. |
| Rotation | A circular movement |
| Transformations | Changes a figure into another figure. |
| ≅ | Congruent to/has the same size and shape. |
| Center of Dilation | A point that is the beginning of dilation |
| Translation | Slides but does not turn. |
| Translate | Slide from one place to another. |
| Center of Rotation | The point around which an object is rotated. |
| Congruent Figures. | Figures that have the same size and all the same shape. |
| Corresponding Angles. | Matching angles |
| Similar Figures | Figures that have the same shape but not the same size. |
| Reflection | An image or shape as it would be seen in a mirror. |
| Line of Reflection | A line midway between something called a pre-image and it's mirror reflection |
