| reciprocal | flipping the numarator and denomonator |

| area | number of squares needed to cover a surface |
| nets | a two dimensional figuer that can be folded to form a solid |
| polygon | a two dimensonal shape that has at least 3 straghit lines |
| prism | a three dimensional figuer with flat faces |
| surface area | the sum of areas |
| vertex | a corner where points meet |
| volume | units contaned in in a fidguer |
| algebraic expression | number symbols and operations used |
| base | a number raised to power |
| equation | a number sentance that uses an equal signs |
| exponent | how many times the base is used as a factor |
| varible | a letter that take a place of an unknown number |

| mode | the most repeted number in the set of data |
| range | the diffrance between the least and greatest value |
