What is an open sentence? | An open sentence is an equation with one or more variables. |

What is a solution of an equation? | A solution of an equation is a value for a variable that makes an equation true. |

What is an inverse operation? | Inverse operations are operations that undo each other. |

What is an inequality? | An inequality is a mathematical sentence that contains an unequal, greater than, less than, equal to or greater than, equal to or less than signs. |

What is a solution of the inequality? | A solution of the inequality is any number that makes an inequality true. |
