TermDefinition
Solid A three-dimensional figure that encloses a space
Polyhedron A solid whose faces are all polygons.
Face A flat surface of a polyhedron.
Edge A line segment where two faces intersect.
Vertex A point where three or more edges intersect
Prism A polyhedron that has two parallel, identical bases
Pyramid A polyhedron that has one base
Surface Area The sum of the areas of all of a solids faces.
Net The two-dimensional representation of a solid.
Volume Measure of the amount of space that an object occupies or holds.
