Polygon A closed figure in a plane that is made up of three or more line segments that intersect only at their endpoints
Composite Figure A figure made up of triangles, squares, rectangles, and other two-dimensional figures.
Area The number of square units needed to cover the surface enclosed by the geometric figure
Coordinate Plane A plane in which a horizontal number line and a vertical number line intersect at their zero point
