| well plate | also known as a spot plate; used to do multiple small chemical reactions |
| test tube holder | used to hold hot test tubes |
| forceps | metal tweezers used to grasp small items |
| scoopula | metal utensil used to scoop or scrape solids |
| striker | used to start a Bunsen burner by creating a spark |
| ceramic tile | used under hot glassware to protect the table and prevent the glass from shattering |
| stirring rod | used to mix or stir chemicals |
| watch glass | a round piece of glass used to hold solids and cover beakers |
| Bunsen burner | a gas burner used in lab |
| tripod | a stand used to hold something over a burner |
| wire gauze | a square of metal mesh used on a tripod or iron ring to hold up a beaker |
