Preterite tense

Preterite endings for -ar verbs: é, aste, ó, amos, asteis, aron
Preterite endings for -er/-ir verbs: í, iste, ió, imos, isteis, ieron
Only __ verbs stem-change in preterite. -ir
Verbs that end in -car, -gar, and -zar have spelling changes only in the __ form. Yo
Verbs that end in -car change from c to __ qu (saqué, sacaste, sacó, sacamos, sacaron)
Verbs that end in -gar change from g to __ gu (llegué, llegaste, llegó, llegamos, llegaron)
Verbs that end in -zar change from z to __ c (crucé, cruzaste, cruzó, cruzamos, cruzaron)
Verbs that end in -eer (and oír) change the i to a __ in the two third-person forms. They have an accent on the __, the __, and the __ forms. y / tu, nosotros, vosotros (leer: leí, leíste, leyó, leímos, leyeron)
Estar is irregular in the preterite: estuve, estuviste, estuvo, estuvimos, estuvieron
Hacer is irregular in the preterite: hice, hiciste, hizo, hicimos, hicieron
Ir and Ser are irregular in the preterite and are the same: fui, fuiste, fue, fuimos, fueron
Dar is irregular in the preterite because it uses the __ endings rather than the __ endings: -ir/-er / -ar - di, diste, dio, dimos, dieron
Ver in the preterite: vi, viste, vio, vimos, vieron
Decir is irregular in the preterite: dije, dijiste, dijo, dijimos, dijeron
Traer is irregular in the preterite: traje, trajiste, trajo, trajimos, trajeron
Verbs that end in -cir follow the same pattern as ___ and ___. Traer / Decir. conducir: conduje, condujise, condujo, condujimos, condujeron
Direct object pronouns: me, te, lo, la, nos, os, los, las
DOPs always come __ a conjugated verb before
DOPs used with an infinitive or present participle can come __ the conjugated verb or be __ to the infini
