What is the Boyle's Law? as volume of a gas decreases, the pressure of gas increases
example of bolye's law: "breathing" marshmallows
what is the charles' law? as temperature increases, volume increases at a constant pressure
example of charles' law: hot air balloon
what is the gay-lussac's law? as temperature increases, the pressure increases at a constant volume
example of gay-lussac;s law: popping popcorn the old fashioned way
what is a fluid? anything that flows- gas or liquid
what is solvent? if density is greater than 1- objects sinks ; if density is less than 1- objects floats
what is pascal's principle? pressure applied to a fluid is transmitted unchanged throughout the fluid
example of pascal's principle: squeezing the end of a tube of toothpaste
