Math review terms

QuestionAnswer
A number made up of a whole number and a fraction. MIXED NUMBER
The answer of one number being multiplied by another. PRODUCT
A number that is a multiple of each of two or more numbers. COMMON MULTIPLE
A number written as the sum of the values of its digits. EXPANDED FORM
The greatest common multiple; the largest number that is a multiple of two or more given numbers. GCF-Greatest Common Factor
A denominator that is the same for two or more fractions. COMMON DENOMINATOR
Having the same value EQUIVALENT
A fraction in which the numerator is larger than the denominator. IMPROPER FRACTION
A fraction in which the numerator is less than the denominator. PROPER FRACTION
The bottom number of a fraction that tells how many equal parts are in the whole DENOMINATOR
The top number of a fraction that tells how many parts of a whole are being considered. NUMERATOR
To write a fraction or expression in simplest terms. SIMPLIFY
A number that is multiplied by another number to get a product. FACTOR
The result when one number is subtracted from another. DIFFERENCE
The answer of one number being divided by another. QUOTIENT
Result of two or more numbers that are added together SUM
