Lines and Angles

QuestionAnswer
Oblique Anything other than vertical, horizontal or parallel.
Parallel Two lines that never cross and remain equal distances apart no matter how far they extend.
Perpendicular They are perpendicular if they are not at right angles to each other.
Acute Angle They are less than 90 degrees and smaller than a right angle.
Right Angle Exactly 90 degrees
Obtuse Angle Greater than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees and is bigger than a right angle.
Straight Angle Exactly 180 degrees.
Reflex Angle Greater than 180 degrees but less than 360 degrees and is bigger than a straight angle.
Revolution Angle Exactly 360 degrees
