Length The longest dimension or bottom of a rectangle
volume The number of unit cubes that will fit into a three-dimensional figure
vertex A corner of a polygon; where two sides meet
area The number of unit squares needed to cover a rectangle
perimeter The measure of the distance around a two-dimensional figure
