Supersaturated Substance that contains more solute than saturated
Non-electrolyte Substance that does not conduct electricity
Saturated Solution that contains the maximum solute
Solvent Dissolving medium
Molarity mol/L (moles divided by volume)
Miscible Liquids that do dissolve freely together
Soluble Capable of being dissolved
Effervescence Rapid escape of a gas from a liquid
Unsaturated Substance that contains less solute than saturated
Molality mol/kg (moles divided by mass)
Solute Substance that is dissolved
Colloid Particles whose size is in between solutions & suspensions
Electrolyte Substance that conducts electricity
Solution Homogeneous mixture of 2 or more substances uniformly dispersed throughout.
