Why would this be useful? In places where there is no mains electricity supply
What are two disadvantages of batteries? Production uses harmful chemicals and a lot of energy, they are also hard to dispose of safely
How can a less developed country be affected by lack of access to electricity? • Can't power fridges to store food and vaccines in- illness spread quicker • Can't use technology such as x rays etc. inability to diagnose people with things can lower life expectancy • No internet or phones- poor communication
