digestive system

QuestionAnswer
1st stage of digestive mouth- food is chewed and mixed with saliva
2nd stage oesophagus- tube that carries the food to the smotach
3rd stage liver- produces a substances called bile which breaks down fat
4th stage stomach- where food is churned and mixed with acid and digestive juice
5th stage produces digestive enzymes
6th stage small intestine- after digestion, absorbed through a wall of small intestine into the blood
7th stage large intestine- absorbs water and leaves undigested food which is removed as faeces
8th stage anus- faeces is removed from the body through the anus
